What does an engineered design involve?

MIDFIX will collaborate with you to understand in detail, the project requirements and challenges which need to be overcome. Our priority is to ensure we understand your vision, we do this by effectively gathering the key technical and contextual information to reach an optimised design solution which meets your criteria and considers time/ budget constraints.

Engineered design takes into consideration many factors on-site which can influence the loading factors and limitations within a design’s requirements and satisfy on-site standards. Often it may be considered when a solution can’t be achieved with off-the-shelf products.

The process involves optimising the design to only use what is required to support the loads, reducing costs, waste and installation time. These designs can be done alongside your latest 3D model (if provided) to ensure there are no clashes with any existing or potential structures within the project.
