These screws form their own thread into drilled or punched holes in metal. They create a vibration resistant fastening and save the time of the usual tapping operation making them ideal for production situations. They are available in up to M10 thread size and suitable for heavier applications than self tapping screws. Commonly known by the generic name of Taptite screws.
