Commonly known as Shot Fired or Powder Actuated fixings. These hardened nails have a ballistic point and are fired from Cartridge Tools to fix into steel and concrete. This is an extremely fast method of fixing, ideal for high volume applications. Common uses are fixing timber and steel components to steelwork and concrete.
The shot fire cartridges are colour coded and come in different strengths according to the application. The minimum steel thickness that can be fixed into is 4mm.
