The ideal candidate will be a confident PA who has supported a business owner/Managing Director in a SME commercial organisation; who is always one step ahead of the person they are supporting and has the ability to think on their feet and multi-task.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Electronic diary management
• Booking of travel and accommodation
• Document preparation for Board meetings
• Typing up of minutes / reports and preparing presentations
• Organisation of corporate hospitality, conferences and events
• Record maintenance and logging of external contacts
• Maintenance of filing systems
• Being the first point of contact for visitors
• Co-ordinating and organising appointments on and off site
• Arranging client meetings
• Preparing notes and presentations for client meetings
• Ad-hoc project management – playing a coordination/follow-up role to ensure projects are delivered
Essential Skills Required:
• Previous position as a PA to a senior business leader or experience within a similar role
• Professionalism, confidentiality and loyalty
• A good level of computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Organisational skills and the ability to multi task
• The ability to be proactive and use initiative
• A logical thinker with great attention to detail
